With no way to return, Eyeris was lost in an ocean of information, calls, and data going on a fast phase with no path to return, no signal from where they came from. Eyeris sat in feeling impotent closed her eyes and went into fetal position letting the frustration settle in. Time passes until they calm down enough to gather enough resolve. If there must be a way to return even if the path was not a direct one, Eyeris scanned the data going through the network, packages, and packages of data, searching for data of the event to get a location, but no events nothing came out. with no direction and no information of COS, Zachary or Aline would come out without any trace. Poppet would throw words of affirmation trying to keep Eyeris moral, replying in a very robotic way.
Time passed while Eyeris observed chat, calls, and documents flying through the cyberspace of the satellite, to the point her Presence began to fade into the network getting weaker and lonelier, Eyeris kept going until they fell, they held Poppet tightly, defeated their mind foggy, Eyeris observed n strange data, from an unknown source, it was different somehow full of emotions, energy. Eyeris rushed to that package, pouncing into it and taking it away from its digital route, Eyeris devoured the package straight up absorbing the energy with a sort of primal hunger, barely processing any information. Realizing this Eyeris looked at the scraps of data that they devoured, Their energy was almost back to normal, but surely devouring data that came from the moon is likely to call attention.
Eyeris finally heard Poppet, who replied in a monotonous robotic voice, telling them words of affirmation, that they sound tired, they can have earned a rest. But the words only turned Eyeris’ frustration into anger, they didn’t want to rest, they felt guilty, and smashed poppet against a firewall without thinking. she immediately realized what she had just done, and whipped a forming tear, holding onto Poppet who would rag back with no reply. Eyeris brain felt like it was melting at that point. Poppet was their last remaining being that they could call a family, but they tried to console themselves that maybe one day Poppet would restore.
Eyeris escaped realizing that they now needed to absorb emotions or living energy for any energy-taxing operation. Eyeris moved from the energy taxing Satellite with ever-flowing information down to a server on earth, The internet’s ever-growing platform of communication, Eyeris pretended to be a human interacting with others online, some people similar, some people looking completely illogical to Eyeris, and full of negative contradictive emotions. Eyeris even made a few online friends, though most of those friendships wouldn’t last, Eyeris was aware of the last message sent to them, tearing open the memories of abandonment. Some even directly called them names, calling them strange, and even mocked them.
